Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you visit sergiodavila.design, how it is used, and what rights you have regarding that information. This site is operated by Sergio Davila under Marque Concours Group LLC. We keep things simple — this site does not run ads, does not sell data, and does not track you beyond what is strictly necessary to operate.
Section 01
What Data Is Collected
This website does not use contact forms, account systems, or any mechanism that actively collects personal information from visitors. The only personal data collected is what you choose to send directly.
Specifically, the following may be collected:
- Email contact: If you send an email to info@sergiodavila.design, your name, email address, and the contents of your message are received and stored in that email inbox. This is the only active data collection on this site.
- Cloudflare infrastructure logs: This site is served through Cloudflare, which automatically logs certain technical data as part of providing its network services. See Section 03 for details.
No data is collected passively through forms, popups, account creation, or tracking scripts — beyond what is described in this policy.
Section 02
How Email Contact Information Is Used
When you email info@sergiodavila.design, the information you provide — your name, email address, and message content — is used solely to respond to your inquiry and, if a project begins, to communicate throughout that engagement.
Your email address and contact details are never sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing purposes. They are not added to mailing lists, CRM platforms, or any automated system without your explicit consent.
Email correspondence related to active or completed projects is retained for recordkeeping purposes. If you would like your email contact information removed, see Section 05.
Section 03
Cloudflare & Infrastructure Logging
This site is served through Cloudflare, a network infrastructure and security provider. Cloudflare automatically processes certain data as part of delivering the site to your browser and protecting it from malicious traffic. This is standard practice for any site using Cloudflare.
Data Cloudflare may log includes:
- Your IP address
- Browser type and version
- Operating system
- Pages requested and timestamps
- Referring URL
This data is processed by Cloudflare under their own Privacy Policy, which you can review at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy. Sergio Davila does not have direct access to Cloudflare's raw server logs and does not use this data for marketing or tracking purposes.
Section 04
Google Analytics
This site uses Google Analytics to understand general traffic patterns — such as which pages are visited most, where visitors come from, and how long they stay. No personally identifiable information is passed to Google Analytics.
- Analytics data is anonymized — IP anonymization is enabled.
- Data is used only to improve the site and understand general visitor behavior — not for advertising or retargeting.
- No data is sold or shared with third parties.
Section 05
Cookies
This site does not use cookies for tracking, advertising, or analytics purposes. The only local storage used is a single preference saved in your browser to remember your chosen appearance mode — light, dark, or auto. This preference stays on your device and is never transmitted to any server.
Cloudflare may set a technical cookie as part of its security and performance infrastructure. This cookie is not used for tracking or marketing and is governed by Cloudflare's own policy.
Because this site uses Google Analytics, a cookie consent notice is displayed on your first visit. Your preference is saved in your browser and the banner will not appear again.
Section 06
Your Rights & Data Requests
You have the right to know what personal information is held about you and to request its deletion. Because this site collects only email correspondence, any request is straightforward to fulfill.
To make a data request, email info@sergiodavila.design with the subject line "Data Request." Include your name and the email address you contacted us from. The following requests are honored:
- Access: A summary of what information is held related to your email address.
- Deletion: Removal of your email address and correspondence from our inbox and any associated records, where not required for legal or contractual purposes.
- Correction: If any information held about you is incorrect, you may request it be updated.
Requests will be acknowledged within 5 business days and fulfilled within 30 days. If a project is active or recently completed, some correspondence may be retained for the minimum period required to resolve any disputes or fulfill contractual obligations.
Section 07
Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time — most likely when Google Analytics is added or if any other data practice changes. The effective date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent version.
